Trust Activities
Radio Mayday: We have been delighted to give financial support over the last four seasons to Radio Mayday to pay for an ISDN line at Selhurst Park. This enables the hospital radio station to broadcast commentaries on Palace home matches to patients in Mayday University Hospital.
Supporters' Direct: We are members of Supporters Direct, a Government -backed initiative to help supporters gain influence at their clubs. Following our own lead, Supporters Direct set itself up as an Industrial and Provident Society.
Crystal Palace FC Study Support Centre: We provide an annual grant to the Crystal Palace Study Support Centre. The centre, which is at Selhurst Park, is an after school learning facility that offers programmes in which children from local Croydon schools participate in on a voluntary basis. The Centre is part of the Government's 'Playing for Success' initiative where football and other professional sporting clubs are assisiting with young people's education.
Crystal Palace Youth Trust: We work in close association with the Crystal Palace Youth Trust, a charity set up to help provide sporting facilities for youngsters in the south-east.
Centenary project: We have regular contact with the Crystal Palace Fans Centenary project and sub-sponsored the Club's centenary museum, at Croydon Clocktower, in 2005/06.
